If a fire hazard poses an immediate danger to life or property, call 911. Do not use the complaint process to report an emergency.

Please note: San Mateo Consolidated Fire Department serves only the cities of Belmont, Foster City, and San Mateo. If the hazard is located outside these cities, please contact the fire agency or city that serves that area.

Please enter a detailed, complete description of the problem including location and any other important details you may have noticed regarding the problem (such as street light/utility pole number) that will help us identify where the problem is located and why it might be occurring.

Your contact information will remain confidential and will only be used to contact you if more information is required in order to mitigate the hazard.
